Referral  Information

All of our therapy providers at Geelong Psychology Group are Psychologists* and qualified to provide treatment for mental health issues.

All referrals need to be received before an appointment is made.  

Email referrals to info@geelongpsychologygroup.com.au,  an administration staff member will make contact with a client once any referral has been received.

Mental Health Care Plan 

Your GP can provide you with a Mental Health Care Plan. Patients referred under Medicare are required to pay the full fee and will receive a Medicare rebate for the service, there is an out-of-pocket expense.

Your mental health plan must be faxed to our office on (03) 5229 5651

National Disability Insurance Scheme

At Geelong Psychology Group, we have provided support to NDIS participants since the scheme commenced in 2013.  We strive to provide NDIS participants the support they require to meet their NDIS goals.  We work collaboratively with NDIS participants, their families and other relevant health professionals involved in their care to ensure each participant receives the support they require.

Given our experience working with NDIS clients and their support workers, we understand the importance  provider NDIS review reports have in participants receiving the level of care they require.

All our psychologists and counsellors can work with plan or self-managed NDIS participants.  We welcome new NDIS referrals from the participant and encourage them and/or their support worker to provide any  other relevant information to ensure we can match them with the most suitable psychologist.
