Telehealth
Our team of Telehealth psychologists (Clinical, General, and provisional registrations) have lived and worked across regional Victoria including Geelong, Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton, Horsham and the outlying Wimmera communities, Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat St Arnaud, Swan Hill, Kerang, Cohuna and Boort.
We are regional and rural psychologists and are experienced in servicing these communities within Victoria. Because we are regional and rural psychologists – we are committed to these communities. With the majority of health service providers residing and working in the large cities, recruitment, and retention of health professionals to your communities can be challenging but not for us. Our psychologists have worked together as a team for years, some up to 15 years together.
Telehealth offers:
• Accessibility – provision of assistance to any location
• Convenience – it eliminates the need to commute, saving both time and money. Clients can schedule sessions to fit with their lifestyle.
• Anonymity – it can be hard in small communities to seek support. If you have a local psychologist in your small town, you potentially will see them frequently outside of the therapy space (e.g. social settings or supermarket) which can be uncomfortable and therefore can be a barrier to seeking support. Telehealth with a member of our team means you can be matched with a provider who is not from your town however understands rural and regional issues.
We have staff offering Telehealth services who have immediate availability across a range of days.
If you are utilising Better Access, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate.
